Fortune Spreader is a new device which manages a contest where basically it tries to join a pre-adjusted number of people in 24 hours time or less, if that number of people is reached the Fortune Spreader delivers the prize to all of them. The prize can be a gift or money. In broad strokes that's what the Fortune Spreader does.

The most important and exclusive difference of the AW Devices Fortune Spreader is, if so desired by the owner, the ability to self-promote in the MM or FS groups. Now it is possible to hire an automatic messaging service to the related groups. A group for support of the Fortune Spreader has been created. Its name is Fortune Spreader Owners, feel free to join and ask for help if needed. FS creators and advanced users are willing to help in your enquiry. Everybody is welcome and we hope that a nice, polite and good manners environment governs this group.

To difference with others similar to Fortune Spreader (FS), this one has three contest modalities; Ontime, Ontarget and Time & Target.

- Ontime: It is necessary to join a minimum amount of people (target) for the prize to be paid, but once that number is met all the people joining the contest win the prize too when the delivery time arrives.

- Ontarget: It is necessary to join a minimum amount of people (target). The prize is delivered as soon as the target number of people is met if before the delivery time.

- Time & Target: It is necessary to join a minimum amount of people (target). When that amount of people is met the board locks and no more new registrants are allowed. It pays the prizes when the delivery time arrives.


In all the cases when a contest has finished a new one starts immediately for a new period of 24 hours time.

The maximum amount of registered people when the prize is money is 200. Being 1000 when the prize is an object . When the prize is money every time when someone touches the board an anti-bot security system is triggered to avoid bots to get your money.

Optionally the FS has an automatic re-delivery system which can be used by any contestant when thinking that a won prize was not delivered.

The object has 6 prims, it has copy/modify permission and is visible by both sides, it shows the information of names/target and remaining time. When less than 5 minutes left to close the contest the time left digits become red. Also, when the prize is money it shows a floating text showing the amount to be paid. It has a default texture which can be changed by a custom one made by the owner or 10 different textures pre loaded in the FS and changeable via setup menu. We will be making new textures and they will be available in the vendors.

FS sends the information regarding the contest to a web site every 10 minutes and, optionally, to an automatic messaging systems to related groups in longer periods of time.

The information sent is, remaining time, the prize, an optional sentence specified by the owner, the game mode and the remaining time. From the web site it is also possible to be teleported to the FS location. The web site shows all the FSs rezzed in world ordered by remaining time.
