IM-2-SL Communication System

SEND IM'S WHILE NOT IN SECOND LIFE

IM-2-SL is a revolutionary communication system which allows the owner to send real IM's to anyone in Second Life with only an internet connection and Internet Explorer (or any browser).

If you have your IM's forwarded to you in your Real Life, as most of us do, sometimes you receive a message which needs to be answered quickly, but you are unable to go 'inworld' to your Second Life to reply, for whatever reason. It happens to us all, particularly if we have close friends inworld, or business interests. Often we have both of course!

 

NOW YOU CAN! - simply place the IM-2-SL device inworld, go to the IM-2-SL webpage, enter the details of the IM you wish to send together with your password and click send. Your message is delivered, as an IM, instantly and simply!


HOW DO I SET-UP IM-2-SL?

Very simply, in just three short steps!

1. FIRST - unpack the box you purchased (named 'IM-2-SL Box' in your inventory). Just drag it from your inventory to the ground and click it, it unpacks its contents to your inventory automatically.

2. SECOND - initialise your IM-2-SL device by simply dragging the object 'IM-2-SL' to the ground from your inventory, wait a few seconds and then, when it asks you, click on it! It will then tell you how to register your password in seconds, just follow the instructions. You must leave the IM-2-SL box in SL all the time for your IM's to be delivered! (Only you can see the password you send, or the device's instructions to you!) When the device displays the text 'Waiting for IMs' above it ... it is ready to use.

3. LASTLY - just use it! Simply make a bookmark to the IM-2-SL web page in your browser, so you can go there easily whenever you need: http://www.awdevices.info/control-communication/im-2-sl/ims-2-sl.html Just fill in the form there and click 'Send IM'

NOTE: Your IM's are delivered as IM's by a 'postman'. You will want to tell you friends and colleagues to look out for the postman from now on, but they won't miss your messages as each IM is headed prominently 'IM from YourName'. The postmans name may be Postman Inventor. If you want to see exactly how your IM's are delivered, just ask Azul WIlder to send you one :) IM-2-SL includes lifetime updates. There is a updater inside the box, just rez it to know if there is a new version of your IM-2-SL system. You will get a copy of the new version inmediately.
